We will transport you from Vegas on a tour of Bryce Canyon!
Bryce Canyon a national park since 1928, and is not actually a canyon, but rather a giant natural amphitheater created by erosion. Famous for its worldly unique geology, the erosion force of frost-wedging and the dissolving power of rainwater have shaped the colorful limestone rock formations into bizarre shapes including slot canyons, windows, fins, and spires called “hoodoos.”
The Paiute Indians believed the ‘hoodoos’ were remains of the Legend people who lived there long before the Paiute Indians. According to the legend, they were punished for their bad deeds by being turned into stone. Whether you choose to believe the legend or not, you will want to take a closer look, and draw your own conclusion.
