With an entertaining and knowledgeable guide at your side, you will travel through the beautiful North Shore and Lake Shore Drives of spectacular Lake Mead. You will see the lake in all it’s beauty and splendor and even see a sandy beach, right in the heart of the Mojave Desert.
As you experience the beauty of the Mojave Desert, you will see the beautiful black mountains and on occasion, wild mustang horses, desert burros, big horn sheep, coyotes, deer, as well as magnificent desert flowers in bloom.
Your journey will also take you through the beautiful North Shore and Lake Shore Drives of the spectacular Lake Mead. You will see the lake in all its beauty and splendor and even see a sandy beach, right in the heart of the Mojave Desert!
But hold on, the best is yet to come…The Magnificent Valley of Fire, Nevada’s first state park. As you enter this unworldly place you will be at the bottom of what used to be an ancient ocean. You will see Aztec sandstone formations in fire engine red, with overwhelming valleys and gorges at every turn. These stunning formations were formed 150 million years ago.
Witness ancient Indian Petroglyphs up close. View, among many others, Elephant rock, Seven Sisters, Balancing Rock, and stone cabins built decades ago as a shelter for passing travelers. Then there is the incredible Rainbow Vista, with its multicolor mountains which will make your photo shoot one of the highlights of your trip.
After a short drive through the Moapa Indian Reservation, you will be back in your hotel in no time, basking in the memories of a true desert experience!
